The Veterinary Referral Centre provides a premium referral service to companion animal vets in the UK and across the world.Their practice offers a group of specialists, each experts in their own field.
The building and all service delivery areas required a full modification and specialist interior refitting to stringent safety and hygiene standards.
The Veterinary Referral Centre offers a variety of specialist services using state-of-the-art equipment, as well as the latest medicines and therapies to diagnose and treat pet’s condition.Services include Internal Medicine, Surgery (orthopedic and soft tissue) Diagnostic Imaging (onsite MRI & CT including outpatient scans)Dentistry, Cardiology, Oncology, Dermatology, Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.
Veterinary Referral Centre was introduced to us by their fit-out contractor. After consulting with their accountants, they decided the smartest method was to use lease finance to fund the fit-out of their new premises.
They had a long term vision of opening a ‘Supervet’ Practice, where they would be able to provide a wide range of different treatments including highly specialist scanning to enable the business to care for more of the animals’ needs without having to refer them elsewhere.
Their new office expansion required a full structural transformation and re-modelling of the lower floor with modification of the upstairs. The project included the creation of a reception, kennel areas, operating theatre, intensive care services, x-ray and scanning rooms, consultancy and treatment rooms and offices.
Leasing provided a flexible solution enabling them to retain their cash as working capital through the critical first few months of opening their new base while they developed and expanded their client base.
We were looking to grow our business and needed support to get the high quality equipment we required going forward. Leasing our fit-out with Plus Finance means we would be able to extend our services and have freedom to work through an evolving project plan without incurring further financial complications.Bernard Walsh, DirectorDownload Case Study
