Acanthus Advisers are an independent corporate finance advisory firm focused on private equity providing fund placement and corporate advisory services. The firm was established in 1998 and is authorised by the Financial Services Authority. Acanthus Advisers have worked with many public and private companies on a broad spectrum of domestic and cross-border transactions ranging from public and private capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, buy-outs and exits.

THE PROJECT
Acanthus Advisers were looking to enclose their corporate profile by installing new designer furniture in their prestigeous office in Cavendish Square, London W1.

THE FINANCE PACKAGE
Obviously, being involved in the high finance marketplace, Acanthus Advisers had access to numerous funding sources. However, following an introduction to Plus Finance via the furniture supplier, Acanthus took advantage of a 5 year lease rental agreement aimed at maximising the available tax benefits, whilst keeping the payments as low as possible to retain cash in the business.

The lease rentals were also extremely competitve compared with other funding sources, and had the advantage of being fixed for the duration of the agreement.
